Every engagement runs on the same engineering standard: explicit constraints, measured results, documented decisions, and a handover that leaves your team in control.

Engineering principles

Constraints first

We start from residency, connectivity, retention and audit requirements. Architecture follows the constraint; the constraint never follows a framework choice.

Threat model on day one

Trust boundaries, identity flows and abuse cases are documented before implementation, then revisited at each architectural change.

Budgets, not adjectives

“Fast” is replaced by a number: latency percentiles, throughput floors, memory ceilings, cold-start limits — verified in CI against representative data.

Reviewable by default

Architecture decision records, dependency inventories and test evidence live in the repository your auditors and successors will read.

Boring where it counts

Proven data stores, standard protocols and supported runtimes. Novelty is reserved for the part of the system that is genuinely your advantage.

Operable handover

Runbooks, dashboards, alert definitions and upgrade procedures are part of scope — not a follow-on statement of work.

Delivery sequence

A typical platform engagement. Phases are fixed in shape; duration depends on estate complexity and approval cycles.

  1. Phase 01 · 2–3 wks

    Assess

    Current estate, obligations, performance baseline and risk register. Output: target architecture and a costed plan.

  2. Phase 02 · 4–6 wks

    Prove

    A thin slice in your environment: deployment, identity integration and the hardest performance path, measured.

  3. Phase 03 · Ongoing

    Build

    Iterative delivery against the agreed budgets, with release evidence, security review and stakeholder demos each cycle.

  4. Phase 04 · 2–4 wks

    Hand over

    Operations training, documentation review and an optional support retainer with defined response targets.
